Colombine or Granny's bonnet - An erect, clump-forming hardy, herbaceous perennial with dark green foliage and nodding, bonnet-like pink flowers from spring and into summer. Whilst Aquilegias can be fairly short-lived, they tend to self-seed fairly freely without becoming a nuisance. A pretty, cottage garden plant.
